Check Me Out Around the Internet

As many of you probably know from my tweets and such, I landed a job in NYC over the weekend and I just booked a one-way flight.

Without getting too Full House on you, I do want to thank everyone who helped along the way – whether you’re a reader, subscriber, frequent commenter or whatever. I think this blog was a great help in getting the job and without people to connect with, it probably would have gotten shuffled into my domain purchase graveyard. So thank you.

Here are a few links to guest posts I wrote last week as well as the latest from Boy Toy Brad:

Is Job Search 2.0 Worth It? on MsCareerGirl.com – A post about my decision to quit my job without another job lined up in order to reach out to my online network.

My Take On Personal Branding on PatrickBarbanes.com – A post about my recent decision to rebrand this blog, beginning with my Twitter username. Also, a little insight into why I originally wrote my posts anonymously and why I decided to attach my name to them after six months of blogging.

Next Stop: New York City on BoyToyBrad.com – Brad breaks his silence and begins dieting for our big trip up north.

I’ll be handing the blog over to a guest writer later in the week as I pack my things and get ready for my flight, but I’ll be back soon with tales of missed subway exits, big buildings and gnomes.

  1. Don’t forget us little people when you’re in NYC. ;-)

Ok so I was JUST about to e-mail you a couple awesome jobs that I found in NYC for you and then I was all “hmm… maybe I should double check that she hasn’t already gotten one”… clearly I’m glad I did! CONGRATS and send some of those good vibes (and any Atlanta leads) my way! Yay!
