I should really thank L.A. Fitness for much of my blog post inspiration. Today, there was a D.J. pumping up the jams. I can’t even begin to articulate my thoughts on that so instead, I’d like to discuss a certain tattoo that many of the testosterone-pumped young men at my particular gym sport in an attempt to woo the ladies.

What we have here, is the outline of Italy, with a splattering of the Italian flag tri-color. What we also have, is a failed attempt at tattoo synergy. Here is a pie chart that expresses my thoughts on this tattoo and the men who have it.
Analysis of Prevalence of Douchbaginess in Men with Italy Outline with Tri-Color Fill Tattoo

I planned to also create a line graph showing the direct correlation between the desire to get this tattoo, the follow through and the time the ink has had to sink in vs. the intensity of douchebaginess. I’d also like to create a pie chart to analyze the percentage of men with this tattoo who have actually traveld out of the U.S. and I might even analyze a little further to see what percentage have actually been to Italy. But, it’s bedtime folks. So use your imagination.

let me ask u something, are you italian? that tattoo has nothing to do with “the ladies” .its a sense of pride. i do agree however, on you noticing that most of the people who actually do have that tattoo are either not very italian at all, or never been to italy. but i think its a fine tattoo idea if you are VERY italian. AND have been to italy to visit family or something.. If u dont have family in italy.. then your probably not italian.
Have you seen my picture in the “What Ramp?” section? Does it not scream Irish?! I see where you’re coming from. I think this tattoo would be fine if it was on some sweet old Italian man who loves his motherland. But most times when I see it, it’s on douchebags. So I just had to go with the more common occurrence. My challenge to you though.. if you can find me an upstanding citizen with this tattoo, I’ll put him up on the site and apologize.
I believe it is Douchebagedness not Douchebaginess, not to correct a grammatical error on a made up word, but that is for sure they way I would use it. just saying
Actually, not to be a douche i want this tattoo. But defending myself, i am going to italy next year with my family(without my parents tho). And when im there i would like this tattooed right over my heart, showing that im italian at heart. I will be 15 when im visting so i dont think my parents will let me. But as you said before, people who aren’t italian, never been to italy, or have no connections to it should never get this, because that is a sign of a PRICK! So by me getting this tattoo it will symbolize that i was in italy or am italian. Which both will be true when i get it. Id look pretty badass in 10th grade with that tattooed over my heart, itd be better if i got a 6-pack first lol
